Detroit’s Little Caesars Pizza announced that Erin Martin has been promoted to chief of staff. In the newly created role, Martin will act as strategic advisor to the global pizza chain’s president and CEO and its leadership team.

Martin, who has been with the company since 2007, most recently held the role of general counsel and vice president of business support services. Martin led the legal and business support teams, which included real estate, construction, U.S. development, training, and communications.
In the role, she provided counsel during the chain’s new world headquarters expansion in downtown Detroit. Martin also worked on projects in the areas of diversity, government relations, and corporate growth.
She also supported the legal needs of several other businesses within the Ilitch Family of Cos. in the role, including Blue Line Foodservice Distribution, Champion Foods, and the Little Caesars Fundraising Pizza Kit program.
Before Little Caesars, Martin was an attorney at Bodman PLC. In total, she has more than two decades of experience in corporate and franchise law.
Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University in 1997 and a juris doctorate from Detroit’s Wayne State University Law School. She was admitted to the Michigan bar in 2001.
