Dustin D. Hoffman Named Vice President of Consumer Experience for Health Alliance Plan

Southfield-based insurance company Health Alliance Plan (HAP) has announced Dustin D. Hoffman as president of consumer experience. Hoffman brings more than 14 years of information technology and marketing experience to the company.

“Dustin’s unique combination of expertise in digital strategy, IT, and optimizing the customer experience will support HAP as we continue to enhance our customer service platforms,” says Mary Ann Tournoux, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of HAP. “His mastery of this critical technology will enable HAP to provide agile digital systems that increase customer engagement with these platforms and enhance customer satisfaction.”

Prior to his appointment, Hoffman served HAP as director of digital strategy where he was responsible for web operations, digital experience for integrated care, and marketing initiatives for health plan members. Additionally, Hoffman received the Davison Fellowship for Entrepreneurs in Digital Health award from the Henry Ford Innovations Institute.

Hoffman earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Albion College and a master’s degree from the Eli Broad Graduate school of Management at Michigan State University.
