Laurence Schultz, of counsel to Driggers, Schultz & Herbst PC, has received the 10th annual Stephen H. Schulman Outstanding Business Lawyer Award from the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section.
The award honors business lawyers who consistently exemplify the highest quality of professionalism and practice and an unwavering dedication to service, ethical conduct and collegiality in the practice of law.
Schultz, of Metamora, specializes in corporate and securities matters, with specific emphasis on securities litigation and arbitration.He is a past chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a past member of the council of that section, currently serving ex-officio. Schultz is past chair of the Michigan Securities Law Advisory Committee. He also has served as an arbitrator for the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers and is an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Schultz earned his Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University and his juris doctor from The University of Michigan Law School.
