STERLING HEIGHTS – Dominic’s Fine Jewelry, at the Lakeside Mall, is officially unveiling its new Pandora Jewelry “Shop Within a Shop” concept and celebrating its 25th anniversary on Saturday.
The Pandora “Shop Within a Shop” concept is typically reserved for stores which offer and sell a larger selection of the whimsical jewelry brand. Approximately 20 percent of Dominic’s Fine Jewelry comes from Pandora sales and that number is expected to increase with the new Pandora “Shop Within a Shop”. Dominic’s has dedicated 170 linear showcase feet of its overall 2,800 square feet to this new concept. All 10 of Dominic’s staff members are well trained in Pandora products.
Dominic Maratta, president and CEO of Dominic’s Fine Jewelry, moved from his previous location at 17 Mile and Garfield to his current location because of strong growth, the need for more creative space, and the fact that 5.3 million shoppers per year come to shop at the Lakeside Mall. The store continues to experience strong growth; 2012 revenues are already up by 30 percent.
Dominic’s Fine Jewelry specializes in custom designer jewelry, and is able to create jewelry from a customer’s specific design – starting with their drawings, continuing to a graphic artist rendering, to a die cut prototype, and finally to a beautiful completed piece.
