COMMERCE — The Detroit Medical Center Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital has announced Karen Fordham has been promoted from Huron Valley-Sinai’s COO to CEO.
Fordham is an executive with more than 15 years of leadership in health care operations. She has been with the DMC since 2007 in several administrative positions. In her most recent position as COO, she had direct oversight of service line development, strategic planning and growth, physician recruitment, outpatient imaging centers and oversight of the radiology leadership team across the entire DMC system.
Prior to DMC, Fordham served in administrative roles for Oakwood Healthcare System, Spectrum Health ,and ProMed Healthcare.
She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
