FLINT — Jennifer Hagerman, senior director of education and quality at Diplomat, a specialty pharmay in Flint, was recently voted president-elect of the Michigan Pharmacists Association for 2014 by the MPA membership.
At Diplomat, Hagerman directs the Diplomat University, providing specialized training to both Diplomat employees and external professionals seeking education in the specialty pharmacy industry. Hagerman also oversees the company’s quality assurance program and serves as the director of Diplomat’s postgraduate residency program.
Hagerman holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University. She has been a member of MPA for more than 10 years and has served the last three years as an executive board member and as an education taskforce member. In 2009, Hagerman was named the MPA’s Distinguished New Pharmacist Practitioner. She is also chair of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy Education Committee, secretary for the Pharmacy Education Development and Lecture Series Committee and executive board liaison for the association.
