Dickinson Wright Adds New Attorneys to Troy, Ann Arbor

DETROIT — Dickinson Wright PLLC has named two new attorneys to the firm’s offices in Southeast Michigan.

Kimberly M. Slaven is a member in the firm’s Troy office where she will focus her practice on intellectual property law, particularly in the area of patents. She has experience in the chemical arts, especially material science and metallurgy, as well as the mechanical and electrical arts, particularly inventions related to the automotive industry.

Slaven is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Annual Meeting Committee, the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association, the Society of Women Engineers of Detroit, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Detroit. 

She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law.

Doron Yitzchaki is a member in Dickinson Wright’s Ann Arbor office. He will focus his practice in the areas of automotive litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and general commercial litigation.

Yitzchaki is a member of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and recipient of its 2014 Golden Gavel Award recognizing up and coming lawyers. He is co-chair of the Trial Practice Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association.

He received his Bachelor of Arts  rom the University of Judaism College of Arts & Sciences and his J.D. from University of Michigan Law School.
