ROYAL OAK — There’s no place like the Detroit Zoo this Halloween season as the 4-D Theater presents a limited engagement of “The Wizard of Oz”. The condensed version of the beloved classic takes audiences somewhere over the rainbow and back again in just 15 minutes.
Located in the Wild Adventure Zone, the 4-D Theater engages all of the senses with special effects that make “The Wizard of Oz” even more spectacular.
Tickets for “The Wizard of Oz” are $5 with Detroit Zoo admission for visitors ages 2 and older (children under 2 are free) and are available at main admissions, the Wild Adventure Zone ticket booth or online.
“The Wizard of Oz” will be a featured attraction of Zoo Boo – the Detroit Zoo’s annual merry-not-scary Halloween celebration – Oct. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27.
