Detroit-based Butzel Long Adds Attorney Javon David

Detroit’s Butzel Long has added Javon David as a new associate attorney to its Bloomfield Hills office.

David practices commercial litigation and business tort litigation and has handled matters from the onset of suit through trial.

She also has experience representing corporations and individuals in a variety of disputes including negligence, general liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, and personal injury.

She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, with concentrations in history, political science, and psychology. In 2013, she received a juris doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

While in school, David was a Law Review editor, the executive director of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, and a faculty research assistant.

In addition, she is a certified mediator through the American Bar Association.

Butzel Long was founded in Detroit in 1854 and is a member of Lex Mundi, a global association of 160 independent law firms.
