JACKSON — A three-month, 60-piece retrospective of Detroit artist Dominic Pangborn’s artwork will open Friday at the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson.

The exhibition, Evolution of Art & Design Through Revolution, represents a display of Pangborn’s own artistic evolution spanning more than four decades, which journeys through everything from painting and sculpture to fashion and product design.

Korean-born Pangborn came to the United States at the age of ten, when he was adopted by a family in Jackson. He studied graphic design at the Chicago Academy of Art and has opened Pangborn Design studio branches in Chicago, New York, and Tokyo. His fine art is available through Park West Gallery in Southfield.
