Mark S. Demorest of the Demorest Law Firm PLLC in Royal Oak has been named a member of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys.
Demorest, a business and real estate lawyer, has been in the industry for more than 25 years. Previously, he worked at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. He is a member of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce board of directors; the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and the American Arbitration Association in the Detroit Regional Office.

Demorest, of Birmingham, earned his Bachelor of Arts at Harvard and his juris doctor, magna cum laude, at the University of Michigan Law School.
