Northville — DataFactZ, a Northville-based, highly specialized system and data integration company, announces the addition of three new clients: Alcoa, Stein Mart and Bank of America.

“We are experiencing significant growth by adding new clients, expanding business with existing clients, and hiring new employees,” said Krishna Kallakuri, vice president of DataFactZ. “The technology industry is moving toward big data, and the current need for big data support services is a strong factor for new business.”

Big data refers to the vast amount of information collected by companies through various sources including click streams, log files, text, audio and video. This provides large amounts of data that, when analyzed, can help companies from any industry compile a database of meaningful information about their clients’ interests and needs.

DataFactZ is providing the following services for their new clients:

Alcoa, based in Pittsburgh, is the world’s leading producer of primary aluminum and fabricated aluminum, as well as the world’s largest miner of bauxite and refiner of alumina.

DataFactZ is providing offsite location services to implement multiple data integration projects using Microsoft Structured Query Language Server Integration Services.

Stein Mart, Inc., based in Jacksonville, Fla., is a fashion retailer offering an assortment of brand-name and designer apparel, accessories and shoes for women, men and home fashions — all at savings of up to 60-percent off department store prices every day. Stein Mart operates over 260 stores in 29 states from Florida to California.

DataFactZ is implementing MicroStrategy, as a reporting platform, to help Stein Mart with multiple business intelligence projects.

Bank of America, based in Charlotte, N.C., is one of the world’s largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small- and middle-market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services.

DataFactZ is providing staff augmentation services to assist Bank of America with various IT implementations in the areas of data warehousing and business intelligence.

DataFactZ also announced that after opening its doors 10 years ago with only one employee, DataFactZ now employs more than 500 people nationwide. During the first quarter of 2013, the company has hired 34 new employees to keep up with increases in workload from existing clients and to accommodate new clients. DataFactZ provides services to companies such as such as Walt Disney, Discovery, Volkswagen, Gap, Inc., Lord & Taylor, Meijer, Enova Corporation and Intel.
