FARMINGTON HILLS — Danlaw Inc., a global provider of vehicle telematics solutions, automotive electronics, and embedded engineering services, announced that its connected vehicle telematics and automotive electronics business is thriving. “Our growth and job creation has continued to progress at a rapid pace,” says Tom Rzeznik, Danlaw’s president and COO. “Since 2011, Danlaw has more than doubled its number of employees, adding 72 new full-time positions, 62 of which are in Southeast Michigan. For the past five years, we’ve seen sevenfold growth.”
Rzeznik cites Danlaw’s product line expansions in telematics, vehicle electronics and services, global presence, and aggressive marketing efforts as key to its continued growth. Beyond these key growth drivers, Rzeznik notes that there are four critical factors for Danlaw’s success: 30 years of continuous operation in the automotive electronics industry, the uniqueness of Danlaw’s products and services, solid partnerships with suppliers and contract manufacturers, and most importantly—the Danlaw team.
“We believe in investing in Michigan, which means we continue to re-invest in our proprietary technology, our employees, and partners,” Rzeznik says. “Danlaw’s aftermarket telematics solutions and OEM electronics are engineered and tested to the most stringent of automotive OEM standards, and leverage technology that Danlaw has perfected for over 30 years ensures success for our clients.”
Danlaw now employs over 300 people worldwide. In addition to creating new jobs within the company, Danlaw has added another 20 jobs at its Michigan contract manufacturing partners in the last year.
“We realized the need to bring manufacturing back to Michigan for a number of business and technical reasons, but what we are really proud of is doing our part as responsible Michigan citizens and supporting our local economy by bringing good, high-paying, high-tech, high-volume electronics manufacturing jobs back to Michigan,” Rzeznik says.
With more growth forecasted, Danlaw maintains its hiring initiative for identifying top-notch hardware and software engineers, sales and marketing resources, and industry innovators. Jobs can be viewed on Danlaw’s website.
