Dana Locniskar, managing director and private wealth advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Bloomfield Hills, has been named to the Forbes 2025 list of America’s Top 250 Wealth Advisors, a recognition he has garnered consecutively since 2016.
This marks the latest in a long line of national accolades for Locniskar, who has been an advisor to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutions since joining Merrill in 1970. Locniskar brings expertise in wealth management, estate and philanthropic planning, and concentrated stock strategies to his work.
Over the course of his five-decade career, Locniskar has appeared in top advisor rankings from Barron’s, the Financial Times, and Forbes, reflecting both the strength of his client relationships and the strategic rigor of his team’s financial planning approach.
Beyond his professional achievements, Locniskar also is deeply committed to community service, serving on the boards of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, City Year Detroit, and Teach for America Detroit. A long-time supporter of education and the arts, he remains an active volunteer and advocate across a range of civic and philanthropic causes in southeast Michigan. He resides in Birmingham.
