1701 Bespoke, a company that specializes in custom shirts, shirts, overcoats, and tuxedos, is slated to relocate its downtown Detroit office in the fall with a location in Midtown, on the corner of Woodward and Willis.

“It’s been a long journey finding the right place for us in Detroit and we’re really excited to start building the 1701 customer experience we’ve always envisioned,” says Max Schmidt, co-founder of 1701 Bespoke.

Schmidt says the company, which recently opened a satellite fitting room in Birmingham, has more than 100 five star reviews in their online booking system, and plans to open two fitting areas and a small showroom to display some of their fabrics, coats, shirts and ties.

1701 Bespoke is currently operating out of an office in the Dime Suites in the Chrysler House, formerly known as the Dime Building. Schmidt says, the group has fit hundreds of Detroiters, including athletes, CEOs, and has received enormous praise from their customers.
