ANN ARBOR — Current Motor, a Michigan-based electric vehicle development and manufacturing company, has named Bob Mossing as vice president of fleet sales.
Mossing was previously business and fleet manager for Washtenaw County where he managed a $50 million budget in all facets of fleet management and business services for the county and the office of the sheriff. He was nominated as 2011 Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year, and Received Honorable Mentions as one of 2011 100 Top Fleets of North America, and in 2013 as one of the Top Government Green Fleets.
Prior to his work at Washtenaw County, Mossing had extensive fleet experience at Safelite where he managed a fleet of 3,500 units across retail, distribution, and sales lines for more than 2.5 million retail customers. Under his leadership, Safelite reduced its fuel usage by 6 precent.
Mossing has a MBA in management from Cleary University, and earned a Bachelor in Science in business administration from Ohio Dominican University. Recently, Mossing was elected vice chairman of the Midwest chapter of the National Association of Fleet Administrators.
