Crossroads for Youth Names New Board Members

 Crossroads for Youth, a nonprofit in Oxford, that works with at-risk and disadvantaged youth and their families throughout Michigan, has appointed two new members to its board of directors. Joining the board are:

Nancy McAuliff is pricing specialist for VW Credit Inc. Previously, McAuliffe, of Oxford, as a business procedures/cost consultant for MetLife Insurance. She also volunteers with the Special Olympics, Relay for Life and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Additionally, last year McAuliffe organized, promoted and managed Crossroad for Youth’s Gingerbread Run. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.

Joe Kent, senior partner of Kent & Edwards Tax Advisors LLC, is a tax professional. Kent is on the board of directors and serves as a treasurer of the Virginia-based Masters of Foxhounds Association of America and its foundation. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Orion and previously served on the board of directors for the Metamora Hunt club.

Kent, of Addison Township,  is the founder and past owner of Lake Orion’s Padgett Business Services. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University’s College of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
