Sharon S. Wenzl has been named a senior vice president responsible for corporate communications and community affairs with global automotive supplier Cooper Standard.
Wenzl, of Novi, served as senior vice president, global resources and communications for Tower Automotive and held various positions of responsibility at Freudenberg-NOK, including vice president of human resources and communications, director of corporate relations, director of corporate communications, and manager of advertising and sales promotion. She joined Cooper Standard in 2007.
Wenzl earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilante and has completed postgraduate work at Boston University.
