AUBURN HILLS — Continental Structural Plastics, a global manufacturer in lightweight composite solutions, has named Michael Senerius as vice president of sales and marketing.
Senerius is responsible for developing the company’s global sales and marketing plans with a focus on on-going diversification into the heavy-duty truck, HVAC and agricultural markets. He will also be developing CSP’s growth strategies for Europe and China.
Senerius brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing and leadership experience in the automotive industry to CSP. Most recently, he served as president and CEO for Kokinetics USA Inc., a manufacturer of seat mechanisms for both the domestic and global automotive markets. In addition, he spent several years at Magna in key positions including serving as president of Gra-Mag Truck Interior Systems, a North American seating joint venture between Magna and Grammer AG, and as executive champion for all Magna products sold to the diversified markets segment.
Senerius holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and economics from Kalamazoo College. He also studied abroad at the University of Hannover in Germany, and is multi-lingual, speaking both German and Spanish.
