ConcertoHealth Adds New Members to Metro Detroit Clinics

California-based ConcertoHealth, a provider of medical needs, has added three new employees to its recently opened care centers in metro Detroit. Dave Tigue has been named president of its Michigan operations, Dr. Robert Levine and Dr. Bobby Lee have been appointed regional medical directors for its clinical operations.

Tigue, of Clarkston, has more than 15 years of experience in overseeing provider services for medical needs or dual-eligible populations. He joined Concerto from Optum, where as senior vice president of operations he ran both their Institutional special needs plan and community clinical provider field operations for high-risk populations in Michigan and Illinois. Previously, Tigue was regional vice president of operations for Inspiris (purchased by Optum) which focused on the high-risk, high-utilization community and nursing home populations for Health Plan payers. He  also held various leadership roles at Fresenius Medical Care, a dialysis provider, including serving as chief operating officer for FMC subsidiary, Renaissance Health Care.

Levine, of Detroit, brings decades of experience in the field of medicine ranging from private practice in family medicine, medical director positions as well as clinical instructor experience in family medicine. He was previously the medical director at Blue Care Network and the former chief medical officer for the Wellness Plan Medical Centers in Detroit. He was also in private practice for 15 years and was the chair of the department of family medicine at the Detroit Medical Center. Prior, he was a clinical instructor in family medicine at St. John Hospital and served as a full time hospitalist there as well as at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Providence Hospital in Southfield. 

 

Lee, of Northville, has experience in the management of health care delivery to high-risk patients. He joined Concerto from Oakwood Inpatient Associates in Dearborn, where he was chair of hospital medicine and medical director handling both clinical and administrative duties. He also served as medical director of the Regency of Canton Care Center in Canton. He was a member of the CEO Advisory Council on Physician Integration with Oakwood Physicians. He also served on Oakwood’s physician practice executive council while in Dearborn. Previously he was director of research for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Oakwood Healthcare System where he was an associate program director. 

Besides its location at the Kahn Care Center, 7430 2nd Ave. in Detroit, ConcertoHealth opened new clinics at 25373 Van Dyke Ave. in Center Line; 15606 Southfield Rd. in Allen Park; and 15560 Joy Rd. in Detroit.
