Comerica Bank’s World Asset Group Names Sales Director

DETROIT — James D. Rowe has joined Comerica Bank’s World Asset Management Group as director of institutional sales.

Rowe will be responsible for planning, conducting, and executing national sales and calling campaigns for the department, which specializes in managing index portfolios and customized portfolios that use index investment strategies. It has $12.6 billion in assets under management.

Rowe has more than 30 years of investment sales and marketing experience. He has served as principal and founder of Rowe Capital Partners LLC, a fund placement firm. His experience also includes management positions with Fidelity Investments, Cannon & Rowe Asset Management, Wells Fargo Bank, and Standard & Poor’s Corp.

Rowe holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Utah State University. He also completed investment management graduate courses at Southern Methodist University and Duke University.
