Parvathy Hariharan has been named to vice president of customer experience strategy for Comcast’s Heartland region which includes Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. She is based in Plymouth.
Hariharan will oversee the Heartland region’s efforts to implement the company’s multi-year strategy to transform the customer experience and to create a culture focused on exceeding customers’ expectations. The plan centers on looking at every decision through a customer lens and making measurable changes and improvements across the three-state region which serves more than 1.9 million customers and has more than 4,000 employees.
Hariharan, of Farmington Hills, comes to Comcast from Deloitte Consulting LLP in Detroit, where she held several leadership positions. She has experience in building customer retention strategies for major clients. She also led essential work for clients that included researching and developing new markets, building commercial pricing structures and creating customer account management systems.
Hariharan earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Madras in Chennai, India, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Michigan State University.
