Bill Bone has joined CloudSAFE Ltd., a Southfield based company that provides cloud computing innovation services, as vice president and will lead product development.
Bone will lead CloudSAFE’s product management, engineering, development, and validation activities. Previously, Bone was CTO of automotive solutions for Aras Corp. and was instrumental in the development of CloudSAFE. He also held leadership roles at General Motors and Hewlett Packard.
Bone also served on the board of directors of the West Virginia University Technology Research and Development Corp., the ADI (now Dell Government Services) board of directors chairing the audit committee, and the technology advisory council to Enterprise Air. He currently advises executive directors and CIOs of two non-profit organizations.
Bone, of Royal Oak, earned a bachelor’s in physics and math at West Virginia University of Technology and his master’s in physics at Eastern Michigan University.
