Clayton & McKervey, a certified public accounting and consulting firm in Southfield, has promoted senior accountants Ben Finzel and Cody Peyok to managers.
Finzel has been promoted to manager on the private client services team. He has been with the firm for four years and started out his career on the tax team. He provides tax, accounting, estate planning, and consulting services to growth-driven entrepreneurs and high- net worth individuals. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Alma College.
Peyok has been promoted to manager on the advisory and assurance team. Joining the firm in 2018, Cody manages financial audits, reviews, and compilations for closely held businesses, including project planning, oversight, execution, and reporting. He helps clients navigate industry changes and work more effectively by implementing and adhering to new accounting standards. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University.
