ROYAL OAK — Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, a statewide agency whose mission is to help families cope with leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders, has named Jim Berline as its new chairman of the board.
Berline has been involved with the Children’s Leukemia Foundation for a number of years and previously served as the vice chair. He is also chair of the Henry Ford Health System Neuroscience Institute Advisory Council, chairman of CATCH, the late Sparky Anderson’s charity for Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation, and Henry Ford Hospital. Berline was also formerly chairman of the board for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Berline is the chairman of Berline, an advertising, marketing and digital communications agency in Royal Oak.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Michigan and received his Master of Science in marketing from the University of Illinois and has continued his education at the Harvard Business School.
