Detroit-based leadership development organization Challenge Detroit is accepting applications for its 2016-17 class of Fellows. Challenge Detroit Fellows are college graduates who are offered a work placement with a large Detroit business such as General Motors and tasked with weekly “challenge” service projects in the city.
“Detroit has always been home for me, so working with my host company, SME, and participating in challenges has allowed me to see my city from a different perspective,” says Challenge Detroit Fellow Taylor Blackstone. “I’ve made an impact in a way I would not have been able to otherwise.”
Fellows also receive a $36,000 salary.
Challenge Detroit is accepting applications until March 6. Those interested in applying can visit http://www.challengedetroit.org/application.
