BIRMINGHAM — Donald Katz has opened a new business law office in downtown Birmingham.
The firm, Donald Katz PLLC, will offer legal and advisory services to businesses, business owners and investors. Prior to founding the firm, Katz was counsel for the Combat Systems Tax Group at General Dynamics Corp.
Katz received distinction in 2003 for his pro bono representation of a nonprofit housing corporation that sought to establish affordable housing for its disabled residents in Livingston County and he also received recognition in 2005 and 2006, while at Miller Canfield Paddock and Stone, in Chambers USA: America’s leading lawyers for business, a listing of the best practitioners and corporate lawyers around the world.
