DETROIT — Buddy’s Pizza invites metro Detroiters to enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza during the 39th annual Slice for Life event to benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

For nearly 40 years, Slice for Life has made a difference in the lives of metro Detroiters in need by raising more than $2.7 million dollars to benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. The money raised helps the organization tend to people’s basic needs — especially the need for food — while also attempting to stimulate minds, nourish spirits, and address root causes of social injustice. During this year’s Slice for Life event, Buddy’s aims to raise $125,000 to benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

“The Slice for Life event is an annual spring highlight for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen,” says Brother Jerry Smith, executive director of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. “It provides benefactors an opportunity to support the soup kitchen while at the same time enjoying great pizza.”

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 13, patrons who purchase a ticket can visit any Buddy’s Pizza full-service location to enjoy an all-you-can-eat two-topping pizza and salad meal. A carry-out option is also available for purchase at all 11 Buddy’s Pizza locations and includes either a 4-square two-topping pizza or a medium sized antipasto, Greek or house salad.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children. Advance tickets can be purchased online at cskdetroit.org, or by calling 313-579-2100 ext. 153/170. Tickets will also be available at the door. All ticket holders may also register to win one 8-square Buddy’s Pizza every month for one year.
