PFM Financial Advisors (PFMFA), an independent municipal advisor in Philadelphia, named Brodie Killian as a director in its Ann Arbor office.

Killian has more than 18 years of public finance experience working with school districts, community colleges, and municipalities.

“We are excited to have Brodie join PFMFA’s Michigan financial advisory team. He is well-known and respected, has proven experience in business development and client service, and complements our team very nicely,” says Kari Blanchett, managing director, and head of the Ann Arbor office for PFMFA.

Prior to joining PFMFA, Killian previously worked as a managing director at Stifel Nicholas & Co., in St. Louis, where he spent six years as an investment banker. Previously, he worked at Raymond James and William Blair as a senior vice president and director, respectively. He served as a deputy superintendent of business and operations at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.

Brodie received his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Michigan — Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, and Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan — Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
