BIRMINGHAM — Broder & Sachse Real Estate Services has expanded its multifamily management team with two promotions and five new hires.
“We’ve experienced tremendous growth in the multifamily sector and are focused on delivering superior levels of service to our clients,” said John Hamburger, president of Broder & Sachse. “The well-deserved promotions and experienced new hires will continue to advance our successful multifamily management team.”
The promotions and hires include:
Sarah Girand was promoted from director of apartment management to vice president, multifamily management. She has worked in property management since 1998 in both on-site and corporate capacities. Girand has experience in new construction, existing properties and asset rehabilitation projects. She has overseen multifamily portfolios of up to 5,300 units and has worked in apartment and manufactured-housing industries, asset takeover and dispositions. Girand holds a State of Michigan real estate license and has a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University.
Scott Wallace was promoted from regional manager to senior regional manager. He has worked in property management since 2007, with a focus in the multifamily market. Wallace has worked as operations manager and property manager for a 44-story, 575-unit high-rise. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Roosevelt University.
Al Montalvo, hired as regional manager, has more than 25 years of property management experience with commercial and multifamily properties. Montalvo has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Eastern Michigan University.
Mike Kelly was hired as assistant regional manager. He is an experienced multifamily property management professional who has worked with various properties in southeastern Michigan. Kelly has a bachelor’s degree from Northwood University.
Wendy Barnabei was hired as assistant regional manager. Barnabei has more than 10 years of experience in property management. She has an associate’s degree from Washtenaw Community College.
Rae Lynn Laquinto was hired as assistant regional manager, and has worked in property management for multimillion-dollar communities. Laquinto has an associate’s degree from Macomb Community College and holds a State of Michigan real estate salesperson license.
Haley Pullman was hired as systems coordinator, and has almost 10 years of experience in client service-related positions.
