BIRMINGHAM — Broder & Sachse Real Estate Services Inc., announced it was hired by ROCO Real Estate Inc., to provide property management services for the Advantages Apartments in Jackson, Miss., and Capital Manor Apartments in Lansing.
“We’ve focused a lot of our energy on the growing multifamily residential market, including creating a dedicated residential team, and this has helped lead to our recent successes in the market,” Richard Broder, C.P.M., CEO, Broder & Sachse Real Estate Services, said. “These are great properties, and we are thrilled to expand our services into new Michigan cities and Mississippi, a new state for us.”
The Advantages Apartments is a 252-unit mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments in Jackson, Miss. The community is convenient to downtown Jackson and offers spacious apartments with appliances, individual intrusion alarms, washer/dryer connections and fireplaces in every apartment. This is Broder & Sachse’s first property management business in the state of Mississippi.
Capitol Manor Apartments is a 126-unit mix of studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments in three apartment communities: Capitol Manor Apartments, Pine Street Apartments and Ionia Street Apartments, all in Lansing. The portfolio also includes six single-family homes with eight additional units. The communities are a short walk to downtown Lansing, Cooley Law School and the State of Michigan office complex.
ROCO Real Estate acquired The Advantages and Capitol Manor complexes in April 2013. Since January 2012, ROCO Real Estate has acquired a portfolio of more than $105 million, including more than 1,800 apartment units at nine complexes in Michigan, Florida, Ohio and Mississippi.
