The cast of Jersey Boys, a Tony, Grammy, and Olivier award-winning musical, will kick-off the 89th annual American Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit.
“We are honored to welcome this outstanding cast to Woodward Avenue on Thanksgiving morning,” says Tony Michaels, president and CEO of The Parade Company.
Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, a group of blue-collar boys who wrote their own songs, invented their own sound, and sold 175 million records worldwide before the age of 30.
The performance will take place prior to the parade’s travel down Woodward Ave., and be broadcast on WDIV-TV Local 4.
Jersey Boys will also be performing at the Fisher Theatre, 3011 W. Grand Blvd., from Nov. 17 to Dec. 6.
