Bridge Business Credit in Troy, an alternative commercial finance company, has named Jim Kinnaird as senior managing director of underwriting, in a move designed to help the asset-based lending firm in its commitment to commercial credit both locally as well as regionally.

The firm serves companies, large and small, who are unable to secure conventional business financing.

Kinnaird, who brings more than 35 years of commercial credit experience to Bridge Business Credit, most recently was vice president of special asset group at Independent Bank in Troy. He started his banking career at Comerica Bank, holding increasingly responsible management positions in credit administration and special assets.

“We are excited to welcome Jim to our highly qualified team and look forward to him bringing his depth of experience to serve clients located throughout the Central and Eastern U.S. time zones,” says Rhett B. Rowe, CEO of Bridge Business Credit.
