The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) based in Detroit recently added three new executives: Shon Dorsey as chief operations officer, Alise Dixon as chief program officer, and Esther Kyte as vice president of resource development.

“It is important to BGCSM that we continue to expand our pipeline of resources and experience at all levels—from program partners, club staff and executive leadership — to ensure we have the human capital needed for sustainable impact,” says Shawn H. Wilson, BGCSM president and CEO. “Shon, Alise, and Esther are impeccable additions to an already best-in-class group of innovative leaders.”

Dixon brings more than 14 years of programmatic strategy and development experience to BGCSM with her most recent experience as the national director of quality improvement and member engagement at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. There she led a variety of initiatives designed to support Clubs across the country as they developed and implemented continuous quality improvement strategies within their organization.

Dorsey is a former Club kid from Austin, Texas, and brings extensive experience in youth development and leadership, having worked at organizations such as United Way, YMCA, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. For more than a decade, much of his work has focused on building strong non-profits through strategy consulting, operational design, and organizational development.

Kyte has an extensive background working with companies and foundations on their social impact and giving strategies. She has consulted with companies on issues ranging from helping to build an ethos of sustainability into their supply chains to setting up successful social impact programs. She comes to BGCSM from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where she served as managing director at the Center for Positive Organizations.
