FARMINGTON HILLS —David Gaffney and Narendra Sanath-Kumar, have been promoted to serve as vice presidents at Botsford Hospital.
Gaffney, far left, has responsibility over all functions related to imaging services, lab services, and radiation oncology. His previous position was director of diagnostic imaging services, a position he held since coming to Botsford in 2012.
Previously, Gaffney worked for Henry Ford Macomb Hospital-Warren Campus, where he served as director of medical imaging. His career also includes radiologic positions at Sinai-Grace Hospital, Providence Hospital and the former St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Macomb. Gaffney holds a master of business administration degree from University of Detroit Mercy and a bachelor’s degree in radiology from St. Mary’s College.
Kumar is director of physical medicine and rehabilitation and will now lead Botsford’s environmental and linen services, food services, plant and technology management, and security.
Previously, Kumar worked at Garden City Hospital as director of rehabilitation therapies, and sports medicine. Kumar’s prior work experience includes a previous stint at Botsford as manager of therapy services and other physical rehabilitation positions in the United Kingdom and India.
He holds a doctor of physical therapy degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences – A.T. Still University, Mesa, Ariz.
