Birmingham’s Townsend Hotel Places 7th in Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards

The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham placed seventh on this year’s Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards under the Top 20 Hotels in the United States, Midwest Region. This is up four places from last year.

The Townsend opened in 1988 and has been a AAA Four-Diamond luxury property for 30 consecutive years. Its services and amenities include Rugby Grille, Afternoon Tea at The Townsend, The Townsend Bakery, and banquet, catering, and wedding options.

This is the 32nd year of the global travel survey, which uses more than 600,000 individual voters offering comments and data on hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, and more. The survey includes more than 30,000 travel listings more than over 7,000 hotels and resorts.

Condé Nast Traveler U.S. and U.K. November print editions will feature the 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards.
