Birmingham-based J.P. Morgan Appoints New Michigan Market Manager

Jason Tinsley has been appointed the Michigan market manager for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Based in Birmingham, Jason manages more than 40 professionals who oversee more than $7 billion of client assets for clients across the region.

Previously he served on the Michigan team as a senior banker. Jason and his team are focused on investment management, financial and estate planning, private banking, and specialty asset management for individuals, families, groups, foundations, and endowments.

Jason’s new Michigan leadership role coincides with the June opening of a dedicated client center in Grosse Pointe for client and banker use, providing a new local location for clients to access their private banking needs.

Prior to joining the private bank, Jason served as a district manager for Chase branches across southeastern Michigan. He also served as an institutional client advisor for J.P. Morgan in the endowments and foundations group.

Jason has served on the boards of several community organizations including board chair of the Detroit Urban League, president of Detroit Police Athletic League, and member of the Founders Junior Council for the Detroit Institute of Arts. He is currently vice chairman for the J.P. Morgan Chase Michigan Market Leadership Team, Global Chair Emeritus for the J.P. Morgan Chase business resource group B.O.L.D., as well as a board member for Beaumont Healthcare Foundation, Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation, and Detroit Children’s Fund. Jason has a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University.
