DETROIT — Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina will be opening a new location at Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s McNamara Terminal.
As part of a major redevelopment of the concession program at DTW’s McNamara Terminal, Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina was selected as one of only 25 brand new dining destinations to debut over the next year and a half. Bigalora’s current locations are in Southfield, Royal Oak, and Ann Arbor.
“We are incredibly excited about this opportunity to bring Bigalora to Detroit Metro,” said Chef Luciano Del Signore. “This revitalization of the culinary landscape of the McNamara Terminal transcends from just the four walls of the airport to the city of Detroit as a food city to be recognized, and reckoned with. This new Bigalora will be a place for our loyal guests to enjoy their favorite pizza or pasta while heading out of town, as well as a stop for diners on the go that have yet to experience what Detroit has to offer.”
Bigalora’s new 4,100 square foot airport space will glean inspiration from the vibrant, ‘60s Italian pop décor, with new touches to make it truly its own.
