SOUTHFIELD — Beyond Basics, a child-centered, literacy nonprofit, will host its annual “Come Together for Children” spring fundraiser at the Detroit Golf Club on March 27.
The event will benefit PreK-12 students enrolled in economically disadvantaged public schools throughout Metro Detroit. The funds raised will help provide students with one-on-one reading and literacy-enrichment programs.
The fundraiser includes food, drinks, and dancing in celebration of student achievements. Attendees will also have an opportunity to participate in a raffle, as well as silent and live auctions that benefit Beyond Basics.
