“Beyond Basics’ mission is to provide enriched educational skills as a platform to create communities for children to grow and thrive,” said Good. “Our annual fundraiser greatly impacts our much-needed and proven successful Read to Rise academic and enrichment programs. Beyond Basics has published 5,000 books written by children during the 2007-2008 school year; and has published more than 50,000 books since our beginnings.”
