FARMINGTON HILLS — Beringea, Michigan’s largest and most active venture and expansion-stage capital investor, has hired William Blake III as investment associate. Blake will support the investment team in identifying and analyzing potential investments, financial modeling, industry research, working with and monitoring portfolio companies, deal execution and negotiation, and fundraising.

Blake was most recently an investment banking associate at P&M Corporate Finance in Southfield, where he supported the management of middle market sell-side and buy-side transactions, advising clients on divestitures, acquisitions, and refinancings. He is a graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Michael Gross, managing director at Beringea, says: “Bill’s background in analytical finance, industry research, and guiding the transaction process are core competencies that are required when analyzing potential investments in growing companies. He has significant experience working with business owners and executive teams, and has shown a high dedication to client service. These skills will translate well to the development of our portfolio companies, where we are constantly working with co-investors, management teams, and founders to guide companies to the next level.”
