Beaumont Health Promotes Leaders to COOs, Chief Nursing Officers

Three leaders at Beaumont Health have been promoted, including to COOs at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Beaumont Hospital, Troy.

Three leaders at Beaumont Health have been promoted, including to COOs at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Beaumont Hospital, Troy.

Debra Guido-Allen has been appointed COO for Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She previously served as chief nursing officer at Beaumont Hospital, Troy.

“Throughout her more than 30-year Beaumont career, Debbie has ensured her teams deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in partnership with physicians, administrators, employees, and volunteers,” says Nancy Susick, president of Beaumont, Royal Oak.

Guido-Allen began her career as a general surgical nurse at Beaumont, Royal Oak. She also previously served as manager of the cardiovascular research and anticoagulation management service.

Ann Stewart has been appointed chief nursing officer for Beaumont, Royal Oak. She was most recently chief nursing officer at Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe and was previously a bedside nurse, assistant nurse manager, and nurse manager.

Maureen Bowman is retiring as Beaumont, Royal Oak’s chief nursing officer after a 40-year career with Beaumont.

Mark Leonard has been appointed COO of Beaumont, Troy. He has served the Beaumont, Troy campus for 20 years, becoming vice president of operations and finance in 2017. He was previously vice president of finance and controller.

“Beaumont, Troy has experienced enormous growth,” says Dr. James Lynch, president of Beaumont, Troy. “Mark’s leadership over many operational areas in addition to his financial responsibilities were crucial to our accomplishments.”

Beaumont Health has eight hospitals and 145 outpatient sites.
