Beaumont Health has announced the appointment of Mary Zatina as senior vice president, government relations and community affairs.
Zatina, a lifelong resident of Detroit, was formerly senior vice president of government relations and corporate communications for Oakwood Healthcare, part of Beaumont Health.
In this new role, she will be responsible for building relationships with local, state and federal government officials and stakeholders while also strengthening connections with communities and community partners across the Beaumont Health service area.
Prior to Oakwood, her career included working in the governor’s office, and 10 years with MichCon/DTE Energy in public affairs, marketing, and corporate communications. She has also served on various boards and committees throughout her career.
