Royal Oak-based Beaumont Health has named Aaron Gillingham as chief of human resources. In his new role, Gillingham will be responsible for employment, employee relations, employee and leadership development, compensation, occupational health, employee health plan, workforce planning, and diversity.
Gillingham previously served as system vice president and human resource business partner for Ohio Health Corp. and HR leadership positions for Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp., Quest Diagnostics, and Walmart.
“Aaron’s 20-plus years of HR experience, and his most recent work with a large health system like OhioHealth, will help us advance our position as a workplace of choice drawing top talent from across Michigan and beyond,” says John Fox, CEO of Beaumont Health.
Gillingham earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Missouri State University, and a master’s degree in human resource development from Villanova University. He has also completed leadership programs at Dartmouth and Harvard.
