SOUTHFIELD, Michigan, June 6, 2011 – BBK today announced that Patrick M. McQueen, Managing Director of McQueen Financial Advisors, has also affiliated with the firm, as Managing Director, and will serve as part of the company’s banking practice team.

McQueen has worked in the banking industry for over 39 years, most recently in numerous capacities for The Private Bank including president, as well as chairman and CEO of its Michiganoperations
Prior to joining The Private Bank McQueen served six years as Commissioner of the Michigan Financial Institutions Bureau where he successfully led efforts to expand the powers of financial institutions, including the sale of insurance and branching on an inter-state basis. As Michigan’s chief banking regulator, he was responsible for overseeing 140 state-chartered banks, nine state savings banks, 350 credit unions and more than 4,000 other non-depository lenders. McQueen also served as acting commissioner of the Michigan Insurance Bureau in 1995.
