The Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP, Michigan office has promoted five employees to senior accountant. The announcement was made by Michigan Managing Partner Alan Whitman. Those promoted include Jeff Grad, Nicole Kuhn, Kirstyn Reinholm, Nick Theis, and Kevin Welch.
Jeff Grad has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. He has his CPA certification from the State of Michigan, and he has been at Baker Tilly for two and a half years. Jeff is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Livonia.
Nicole Kuhn has B.B.A. degrees in both finance and accounting from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. She has her CPA certification from the State of Michigan and is a member of MACPA. She has been a practicing accountant for two and a half years and lives in Royal Oak.
Kirstyn Reinholm has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and a master’s in accounting from Walsh College. She has her certification from the State of Michigan and she is a member of the MACPA and AICPA. Nicole has been at Baker Tilly for two and a half years and lives in Berkley.
Nick Theis has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University and has been in accounting for two and a half years. He lives in Farmington Hills.
Kevin Welch has a bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan – Dearborn in business administration, financial accounting, reporting, and finance, and has his CPA certification in the State of Michigan. He is a member of the Detroit Economic Club, Beta Alpha Psi and a board member of Kappa Sigma Chapter. He has been a practicing accountant for two and a half years and resides in Canton.
“Each of these individuals has not only demonstrated strong technical expertise, but has also focused on building external and internal relationships,” said Whitman. “They have helped build and strengthen recruiting efforts and have demonstrated a commitment to the firm.”
