SOUTHFIELD— Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP, a metro Detroit accounting firm, has agreed to merge with Global Development Partners, a worldwide market development group headquartered in Troy.
Jeff Jorge, Huntington Woods, serves as Global Development executive partner. He will join Baker Tilly as principal and will lead their Michigan’s international services team and the firm’s new Latin American offices.

Jorge founded Global Development Partners in 2006. The company offers international market entry support to companies and non-profits in multiple industry sectors and foreign markets with emphasis in large emerging economies such as Mexico and Brazil.
