AUBURN HILLS — Baker College of Auburn Hills has appointed Roger Baran director of the automotive services technology program at the Auburn Hills campus, where he ha taught for the past seven years.
Baran is a licensed master automotive technician and is certified by Mercedes-Benz and Automotive Service Excellence. He has worked at Mercedes-Benz of Novi as lead diagnostics technician and in human resources for EDS, Human Performance Services Group, and Automotive Retail Group.
“Roger’s expertise in the automotive and training fields uniquely qualifies him to lead our automotive program,” said Jeff Love, president. “I know that with his enthusiasm, knowledge and extensive experience in multiple, applicable fields, he’ll continue to advance the program, keeping it ahead of employer training demands.”
Baran earned a master’s degree in business management from Central Michigan University, a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Wayne State University, and has completed computer science and automotive technology classes at Madonna University. He also participated in Toyota T-Ten training program and ongoing training provided by Mercedes-Benz and Baker College of Auburn Hills.
