The Automotive Industry Action Group, a nonprofit organization in Southfield that works to drive down costs and complexity from the supply chain, will now offer its training tools in Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Turkish, and Italian.
“Having these tools available in multiple languages and the training in multiple countries helps create awareness of basic corporate responsibility principles on a more global scale,” says Mary Ellen Bridges, purchasing manager for Ford Motor Co.
In these new languages, the organization will offer training in automotive industry guiding principles to enhance sustainability performance in the supply chain, supply chain sustainability eLearning, a supply chain sustainability knowledge assessment, a supplier sustainability self-assessment, supply chain sustainability workshops, and more.
The supply chain sustainability workshop content will be updated for delivery in Brazil, Mexico, and China later this year.
