AutoGlow Guests Can Win Airfare to Europe in New Raffle

DETROIT — Guests at the 2014 AutoGlow, presented by Ford Motor Co., will have the opportunity to extend the glitz and glamour of the night by winning a round-trip to Europe in a new raffle announced today by The Children’s Center.

The exclusive AutoGlow Delta Air Lines Razzle Dazzle Raffle is available to guests of the January 17 event at Ford Field. The winner will receive two round-trip, Business Class tickets from anywhere in the U.S. to Europe provided by Delta Air Lines, valued at $18,000. Raffle tickets are only available at the event on site and are $25 each or five for $100.

AutoGlow is a glamorous way to begin and conclude Detroit’s most high profile evening of the year. Guests receive valet parking and coat check, then are shuttled to and from the North American International Auto Show Charity Preview at Cobo Center. Upon returning to Ford Field, guests will enjoy tray passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres, delectable entrees, elegant dessert stations, a hosted bar, entertainment including Detroit’s own Ben Sharkey Band and a live speed painting by Dave Santia, followed by dancing.

The 2014 AutoGlow “Detroit Razzle Dazzle” will take place at Ford Field from 4:30 p.m. – midnight on January 17. The pre-reception will take place from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. The Main Celebration will run from 8 p.m. to midnight. Continuous shuttles will run to and from the NAIAS Charity Preview for AutoGlow guests.

Tickets are $325 each and can be purchased online at thechildrenscenter.com or by phone at 313-262-1085. In order to purchase an AutoGlow ticket, individuals must be a NAIAS Charity Preview ticket holder.

Proceeds from AutoGlow provide therapy for children who have experienced trauma associated with abuse, neglect and mental illness. At the 2013 event, more than $250,000 net was raised for the organization. This year’s event is also an opportunity to celebrate The Children’s Center’s founding in 1929.

The winning raffle ticket will be drawn during AutoGlow at Ford Field on Jan. 17 but one need not be present to win.
